The fourth and the final phase of the rehabilitation of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina is in progress, and it is financed by the IPA funds of the EU with 5 million EUR.
Complete rehabilitation of the object is supposed to be finalized by May 2014, while the opening ceremony will be held in July with the concert of The Vienna Philharmonic.
The Government of FBiH gave 150,000 BAM for the rehabilitation of the National and University
Mayor of Sarajevo Alija Behmen said that the third phase of work on decoration, sculpting and the setting of the facade windows are already finished.
”We now need to do to work on plaster and painted decoration, and those works should be finished in May next year”, said Behmen.
Works on the interior, as well as the craft works predict the rehabilitation of walls, domes and vaulting.
