On the occasion of the International Labor Day in Bosnia and Herzegovina and pursuant to the provisions of the Law on Holidays of the Federation of BiH (FBiH) and Republika Srpska (RS), Friday and Saturday, May 1 and 2, are non-working days.

According to this law, two days will be non-working for state organs, organizations, companies, and other organizations and persons professionally performing service and manufacturing activities at all levels of BiH.

Most of the citizens of BiH will use the free days as a short holiday, and students will use it as a small vacation, because they will be able to connect to the non-working days with the weekend.

On the occasion of marking of the International Labor Day, Sarajevo City Hall, museums and shopping malls will be closed for visits on May 1st and 2nd.
