First Anti- Discrimination Forum on Monday

romiThe OSCE Mission in B&H in partnership with the Ombudsman Office for Human Rights in B&H will organize the first anti-discrimination forum, where the “Special report on the situation of Roma people in B&H” will be presented. This event will take place on Monday, 7 April in Mostar.

The special attention of the anti-discrimination forum during the presentation of the report will be focused on the situation of Roma people in the area of Herzegovina, regarding to the exercise of rights in the field of education, employment, housing and health care. Representatives of Roma associations, non-governmental organizations which deal with the situation of Roma, and organizations that provide free legal aid will participate in the anti -discrimination forum operation.

The special report on Roma situation in B&H is based on a comprehensive field research, which was jointly conducted by the Office of the Ombudsman for Human Rights in B&H and OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR).

Anti -discrimination forum will be organized on the occasion of 8 April, World Roma Day.
