Among the 55 tests performed on COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, one finding was positive.
“This is a man born in 1989 and residing in Mostar. Epidemiological teams have already informed his primary contacts so that they can be tested as well,” the spokesman for the Crisis Staff of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Welfare Pero C iro Pavlovic told Fena news agency.
The infected man is in home isolation and has milder symptoms of the disease.
“It is evident that the number of infected in BiH is significantly increasing and therefore, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus, it is extremely important to respect and apply all measures and instructions of epidemiologists and the Institute of Public Health, which are still in force,” said Pavlovic.
This is the first case of GOVID-19 in Mostar after 40 days. The lCOVIDovid-positive case in the City on the Neretva was registered on May 2nd.
