Five Families of Miners who died in the Accident received 84,735 BAM

minersFive families of miners who died in the accident in Kakanj mine in October last year received financial help which was collected in the action that took place in seven coal mines in the FB&H.

They received the funds at the meeting of the Presidency of the Independent Union of Workers of Mines of FB&H, which was held in Kakanj.

The president of the union Sinan Husic said that the funds were given to the families of four miners who died in the accident in mine and one who died a few days later due to the injuries from accident.

They received a total of 84,735 BAM.

Husic stated that more than 5,000 miners participated in the action.

“The reason does not make us happy, but we are very proud for showing that the mining solidarity is on a very high level,” said Husic.
