Football Club Sarajevo has named the west stand of the Kosevo Stadium after Halid Beslic, the recently deceased Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH) music great.
This was confirmed by FK Sarajevo on the official page:
“To our Halid, friend and loyal supporter
On behalf of all the supporters of Football Club Sarajevo, employees and players, and the Board of Directors, we express our deep gratitude to you for everything you gave to our homeland, this city, and our club, not only through song, but through your life, character, and the love you shared with all of us for years.
Therefore, from today, the West Stand bears your name, so it will be known and remembered, so that every song and every chant from it will also be your voice.”
