boy and football playersDavud Dzafic, a nine-year-old boy from Srebrenik who suffers from leukemia, did not have a carefree childhood like his peers.

Little Davud is a big fan of Barcelona, and thanks to the people with a big heart, his dream came true.

In fact, he traveled to Barcelona where he met with Neymar, Messi, Rakitic, Arda Turan and Iniesta on Wednesday, who spent time with David that will forever stay engraved in his memory.

David’s great wish was fulfilled thanks to the Catalan Red Cross, Office of the Club for Members with Special Needs (OAU) and the foundation of FC Barcelona.

A big role in all of this had Enric Morist (Director of the Red Cross), Albert Alvarez and Carles Godia (responsible for the office of the Club for Members with Special Needs), Pilar Guinovart (one of the directors of the Club), Jordi Cardoner (the Vice President), Kenan Terzic, a young man from BiH who is leading the project T’acompanyem (for persons with special needs) and Enric Morist (Director of the Red Cross of Catalonia).

“Although Davud could not talk with the players because of the foreign language, and did not answer Rakitic who spoke to him in the Croatian language because of the great happiness and excitement, we are sure that this will help him and that little Davud “charged the batteries,” and that he will continue to bravely fight this deadly disease,” as announced on the biggest Balkan Facebook page that gathers fans of Barcelona.
