Improved Water Conservation: Reconstruction of the City Water Supply

reconstruction of city water supplyBy signing a contract for the  execution of works on the reconstruction and expansion of water supply facilities in Jajce, the second phase of the implementation of the Project “Water supply and wastewater disposal in FB&H – WATSAN FB&H“ has begun, as stated on the Municipality of Jajce’s website.

This phase involves the reconstruction of the city water supply, and a Contract on the execution of works was signed with the Consortium of domestic contractors “MUKIC-KOMERC“d.o.o. Jajce and “ALMY-TRANSPORT“ d.o.o. Zenica. The value of contracted works in this phase amounts to 2.000.000 BAM.

Jajce Municipality is one of 23 municipalities in FB&H included in the project WATSAN.

The aim of this project is, by financing from available sources, credit of EIB, grant funds and individual participation of municipalities, to ensure the implementation of measures that will improve the infrastructure and services that ensure adequate water supply, disposal, collecting and treatment of wastewater.
