Four Million BAM for Recovery from Floods in FBiH

maglaj floodsAt today’s session, the Government of FBiH reached a decision on adoption of the Program of expenditure of funds “Current transfers to other levels of authority and funds – for settling of the liabilities of the fund for recovery from floods”, defined in the Budget of FBiH for 2016 for the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning in the amount of four million BAM.

These funds will be distributed among the municipalities with whom the Federal fund for assistance to the areas damaged in natural disasters at the territory of FBiH has the obligation to settle the debt in the amount of 2.779.262,18 BAM.

With 1.089.709,88 BAM the liabilities of the Federal fund according to the invoices of suppliers i.e. municipalities/cities will be settled. A part of this amount, 131.027,94 BAM will be directed at the settling of liabilities from the Agreement on joining funds from the Federal Ministry of Physical Planning and the UNDP for the implementation of the projects of landslide remediation in FBiH.

The Federal Government authorized the Federal Minister of Physical Planning to sign an Agreement on the liabilities towards municipalities and suppliers, which refers to the “Current transfers to other levels of authority and funds – for settling of the liabilities of the fund for recovery from floods”, with the Director of the Federal fund for assistance to the areas damaged in natural disasters at the territory of FBiH.
