veseliBlues defender Freddie Veseli, currently on loan with League One Port Vale, is close to agreeing a January move to FK Sarajevo, according reports in Bosnia.

Veseli, who celebrates his 22nd birthday on Thursday, is out of contract at Town at the end of the season and is almost certainly available on a free transfer with manager Mick McCarthy having said the one-time Swiss U21 international has no future at Portman Road.

The former Manchester City and Manchester United trainee is on loan at Vale Park until January 4th.

In addition to FK Sarajevo, who like Cardiff City are owned by Malaysian businessman Vincent Tan, another Sarajevo club FK Olimpic and Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb are also reported to have shown interest.

Veseli joined the Blues on a two-year deal in the summer of 2013 after a trial following his release by the Red Devils.
