suezFrench multinational company SUEZ Consulting is interested in implementation of funds of the European Union (EU), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB) and the World Bank (WB), in joint ventures and investments in Sarajevo and BiH.

In this regard, plans of SUEZ Consulting in BiH in the following period are related to the preparations for the performance of projects in water supply and wastewater treatment, as well as environmental management and waste management in accordance with the plans of the EU, then in the field of transport infrastructure in accordance with the plans of EBRD, EIB and WB, and energy efficiency of cities and buildings.

Delegation of SUEZ Consulting, led by Director Loic Voisin today with Ambassador of France to BiH Claire Bodonyi and team of the company Safage Bosnia (regional office of SUEZ Consulting in Sarajevo) visited the Sarajevo City Hall, where they were hosted by the Mayor of Sarajevo, Ivo Komsic.

The company SUEZ Consulting has participated in numerous large-scale projects of reconstruction and development of Sarajevo and BiH in the area of municipal infrastructure and cultural heritage since 1998.

“One of the most interesting objects is the City Hall where the SUEZ, together with local partners and experts, supervised the renovation of the City Hall during the I, II and IV phase, which was financed by the European Union in accordance with European standards and local legislation,” said Director of Safage Bosnia, Hasan Ibrahimpasic.

Safage is, according to him, present at a lot of buildings in BiH, but they did five border crossings including Bijaca, which is the best border crossing in the Western Balkans with its electronic equipment. They are currently working on the buildings of the courts whose reconstruction is also funded by the EU.

Director of SUEZ Consulting, Loic Voisin, expressed his satisfaction for seeing the results of the extraordinary work on the renovation of the City Hall. This remarkable success, he said, is the result of joint work of local and experts from France.

Mayor Komsic expressed his satisfaction for hosting the delegation from France during their tour of the City Hall.
