granicni prelaz (1)At the international border crossing Brčko – Gunja in the period from May 11th, 2015 to September 8th, 2015, traffic will be prohibited for all commercial vehicles due to construction works on the Croatian side of the crossing.

Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina recommends all drivers of commercial vehicles who intended cross border in the period from May 11th to September 9th, 2015, to use closest alternative international border crossings with Republic Croatia (Orašje – Županja), and with Republic Serbia (Šamac – Slavonski Šamac, Popovi – Badovinci and Rača – Sremska Rača).

Appeal to the Citizens regarding the retention on the IBC Doljani and other Crossings

At the international border crossing Doljani – Metković on 30th of April, 2015 the frequency of passenger motor vehicles was increased, so that at 12 p.m. passengers are waiting for about 60 minutes at the entrance in B&H, and up to 90 minutes on the way out of our country.  Considering upcoming May Day holidays, and few next day extremely increased frequency of passengers and motor vehicles is expected, and in order to reduce retention of vehicles on the IBC Doljani / MetkoviĆ, Border Police reminds citizens that during intended crossing of the state border on the way to the sea or in the crosswise direction a new International border crossing Bijača/Nova Sela can be used, as well as International border crossings: Zvirići/Prud, Crveni Grm/Mali Prolog, Orahovlje/Orah, Ivanica/Brgat, Gorica/Vinjani Donji and Osoje/Vinjani Gornji.

Compared to International border crossing Doljani, all listed crossings have significantly lower frequency of traffic of vehicles and passengers. Increased frequency of passengers and vehicles is expected in the northern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well, so we remind you that before the first of May higher retention at the entrance to Bosnia and Herzegovina are traditionally recorded on IBC Brod – Slavonski Brod and Gradiška IBC – Stara Gradiška, whose closest alternative border crossings are: IBC Šamac – Slavonski Šamac or IBC Gradina – Jasenovac. On the IBC Brod – Slavonski Brod and Gradiška IBC – Stara Gradiška increased frequency is expected on the way out of B&H, on Sunday, 3rd of May, 2015.
