Fuel prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina are still on the rise, and diesel has exceeded three marks per liter at some gas stations.
When it comes to the capital of BiH, the lowest price of diesel is 2.75 BAM per liter, while the highest is 3.06 BAM. The price of gasoline ranges from 2.81 to 2.96 BAM per liter.
Prices have also risen in the Republika Srpska entity, so a liter of diesel costs up to 3.03 BAM, while gasoline costs up to 2.94 BAM.
The authorities in the RS entity said that there will be no new price increases in the next seven days.
As a reminder, when it comes to FBiH, at the beginning of September, gasoline prices ranged from 2.56 BAM to 2.96 BAM per liter for gasoline and from 2.46 to 2.96 BAM per liter for diesel.
Every jump in fuel prices brings new worries to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, because all previous price increases have been justified by the increase in fuel prices. On the other hand, when the price of fuel was falling – there was no reduction in price in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Klix.ba reports.
What will happen to food prices, knowing that flat-rate price calculations make everything more expensive, even what does not depend on transport. The increase in fuel prices again caused the story that food is the next to rise, and all other products whose price includes transportation costs. Food prices are already at an extremely high level, so everyone is rightly worried that a difficult autumn awaits us.

Economists point out that sometimes the calculations of our traders and distributors are not clear.

“Last year at this time, the price of fuel was almost 3.20 BAM, today the price is 15 percent lower. Here are the data on the prices of basic foods. Bread increased by 14 percent, milk by nine percent, eggs by as much as 29 percent, three foods increased by almost 20 percent, and then the price of fuel fell by 15 percent”.
What everyone rightly fears is that the analysis and economic calculation of the prices of food and other products will not be started, but that it will once again be a flat rate. And the citizens, as in previous months, have to master the art of survival, if they haven’t already.
The constant growth of the consumer basket does not leave the place optimistic either, where it can be seen that food is dominantly the biggest expense and that the price of, for example, only three items such as bread, milk and eggs compared to last year, has increased by more than 20 percent on average, BHRT reports.
