corridorThe Government of FBIH has accepted the assignment of the FBiH under the Loan Agreement between the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and BiH in the amount of 76 million EUR for the Project of Corridor 5C. Funds will be used for sections Donja Gracanica (tunnel Pecuj) – Klopce (5.8 kilometers) and Svilaj-Odzak (10.4 km).

With the adoption of this decision was created basis for the signing of a Subsidiary Agreement between BiH and the FBiH and the Subsidiary Loan Agreement between the FBiH and the Public Highways of FBiH, under which the FBiH will directs funds to the Public Highways of FBiH as the ultimate debtor and beneficiary of a loan.

Securing of funds for the section Klopce – Donja Gracanica and continuation of the construction of the highway to the north is important because funds for section Drivusa – Klopce have been already secured, but this share has no road connection with the rest of the road network until the second part of Zenica Bypass to Donja Gracanica is built. In fact, motorway is approaching the existing main road only in the region of Donja Gracanica and prerequisites are met for the construction of the connector on the road.

Beginning of the section Svilaj Odzak is located just behind the bridge of the future interstate bridge “Svilaj”, and ends on the loop “Odzak”, which is located north of the town of Odzak. The bridge across the Sava River is also the connection point between the highway that passes through BiH and Croatia.

Loan funds are granted to the FBiH with a repayment period of 11 years and a grace period of 3 years.
