An agreement should be signed by the end of the month with the Germany Employment Agency, where 500 nurses and medical workers from BiH would obtain a job in Germany.

Adnan Delić, the Director of the Labour and Employment Agency in BiH said that BiH citizens in Germany would work legally in accordance with local laws.

He added that the agreement would make German employers obligated to BiH workers, and would pay them from 1.500-2.000 euros, provide accommodation, food, insurance and paid overtime.

It is estimated that there are vacancies in retail, and the most jobs needed to be filled cooks and in the hotel sector. The construction industry in Germany is faced with a possible lack of skilled workers, which is an added chance for BiH citizens.

Adnan Delić said that the Austrian government has expressed interest for workers from BiH from various kinds of occupations.
