nedim-delicAfter portal Klix.ba wrote about a young man Nedim Delic from Gorazde, who urgently needed four doses of the medicine Doxorubicin 40mg available in Slovenia at a price of 3500 USD, the money was successfully collected and the procedure for the treatment is currently taking place.

This was confirmed by Medina Delic, Nedim’s sister with gratitude to all those who helped her brother in this way, after he was diagnosed with cancer of the connective tissue two months ago and was treated in the Department of infectious diseases at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo.

“The money for the drug that my brother needs is collected. In the name of my whole family and mine, I want to thank everyone who participated in this action. Thank you very much. We hope for a quick purchase of medicine and fast recovery. We also hope that there will be no complications in the meantime. I am grateful to all of you from the bottom of my heart. My brother, God willing, will be fine. There is no need for additional payments. Unfortunately there are many more cases like this and we want them to be successful as well,” said Medina.

Family Delic hopes for the best outcome.

“Today started the process related to paperwork of medicine purchases. Medicine should arrive this week. Nedim will receive treatment every 21 days. Doctors expect cancer to be stopped and even destroyed because the therapies are expensive for a good reason. They are efficient, and in case of any complications, the public will be informed. We stopped the action on Nedim’s request because he wants to help others as well,” said Medina Delic.

In the action of support to Nedim Delic participated a number of citizens, institutions and enterprises, and family Delic is immensely grateful for their help.
