Gradačac Plum Fair to be Held from 27th to 30th August

gradacacThe 41th International fair of agriculture and food industry – Plum fair will take place from 27th to 30th August in Gradačac.

The organizers are expecting the oldest fair event in B&H to be like the one last year, with a great number of exhibitors from B&H and the world.

During those 4 days visitors will have the chance to see the presentations of the newest products and services of the sector of production and refinement of food and drinks, the agricultural mechanization and protection.

According to the management of the Gradačac fair, everything is going well and the preparations for this eminent fair are going by the plan.

“This was a rather tough year for farmers because of the weather disasters. Although these are difficult times for economy so lots of companies do not do this kind of promotion, this fair is still very attractive for many exhibitors” – said the director of the Gradačac fair Husein Topčagić.

He also added that this year many round tables will be held as well as science conference by the experts “Agrotech” and discussions about the state of agriculture and food industry today.

“In order to promote agricultural production as well as the placement of new products, we will organize a visit to the plantation “Krušik” near Gradačac, equipped according to the most popular world standards, a seller and other contents” – said Topčagić.

The program for this year’s fair will be known by the end of the month. As before, valuable prizes and medals will be awarded to the best exhibitors.
