Halilhodzic: A Message to those who live in BiH and don’t love it

The placement of the national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the World Cup reverberated throughout Europe and cheered the entire nation.

In the final of the barrage, the dragons defeated Italy (1:1, 4:1 p) in the final of the barrage and secured their place in Canada, Mexico and the United States of America, which will host the final tournament from June 11 to July 19 this year.

The famous Bosnian expert Vahid Halilhodžić (73), coach of Nantes, who expressed his impressions for the Radiosarajevo.ba portal, was also happy about the success of our national team.

“How did I welcome the placement at the WC? With great pleasure! It was a difficult and uncertain match, but in the end we deservedly won,” said Halilhodžić.

“I am extremely happy. Congratulations to the coaching staff and players. I am especially happy for our fans, who celebrated this historic moment until the early hours of the morning. This moment will contribute to improving the reputation of Bosnian football. It is also a message to those who live in Bosnia and Herzegovina and who do not like that country, that it is still possible to live, play and celebrate together,” said Halilhodžić.

The Dragons will compete in Group B at the World Cup with hosts Canada, Switzerland and Qatar, and Halilhodžić believes that we should not only be participants.

“It is not as difficult a group as it could have been. We should know that going to the World Cup is not a finished job. We can have other ambitions, to qualify for the next round, which would be incredibly good, both financially and for the reputation of Bosnian football,” added Halilhodžić to the Radiosarajevo.ba portal.
