hartmann2In the finals of their publishing production in 2015, publishing house Buybook announced the release of new edition that already attracted great public interest: Florence Hartmann in her latest achievement in the production of Buybook proves that Srebrenica was a collateral damage of the Dayton negotiation process, which was conducted far from the eye of public in spring 1995.

Former journalist of Le Monde, correspondent from the former Yugoslavia and journalist who was following events that preceded the war from the field, as well as the war in B&H itself, Florence Hartmann was spokesperson and advisor to the prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia and Rwanda. The Hague Tribunal sentenced her in 2011 on 7 days in prison in order to reveal secret agreement that during the trial for Slobodan Milosevic, tribunal judges agreed with Serbia and hid the capital information from the public that are linking Serbia with genocide in Srebrenica.

In an exclusive foreword, the renowned British journalist Ed Vulliamy wrote: “This book by Florence Hartmann, which is based on research of mass evidence documented during the siege of Srebrenica, showed that much bigger involvement was present in the events leading to the fall of Srebrenica enclave. Declassified dispatches, exclusive interviews and testimony to the Hague tribunal showed that the governments of Britain, the USA and France have accepted, and sometimes even claimed, that Srebrenica and the two remaining UN-protected safe zones were “untenable” long before general Ratko Mladic took over the city, and they were ready to give up of Srebrenica to Serbs, as they strived to reach the map that would be acceptable for Slobodan Milosevic the Serbian president, in exchange for peace.”
