Heavy Rain expected: Orange Meteoalert issued for BiH

Meteoalarm has issued an orange warning due to the expected heavy rain that will fall in most of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

An orange rain warning was issued for the area of ​​Banja Luka, Visegrad, Sarajevo, Prijedor, Bihac and Tuzla, where 30 to 50 liters of rain per square meter are expected locally.

An orange warning was issued for Banja Luka and Prijedor due to thunder. A yellow warning due to rain was issued for the area of ​​Mostar and Livno where locally heavier showers are possible, and due to the expected thunderstorms for the area of ​​Visegrad, Sarajevo, Mostar, Trebinje, Tuzla and Foca.

An orange warning means that the weather is dangerous, dangerous weather phenomena have been predicted, and they are of such intensity that they can cause material damage and be dangerous to humans and animals.

A yellow warning means that the weather is potentially dangerous, the weather phenomena that are forecasted are not uncommon, but caution is needed and it is necessary to be informed about meteorological activities.
