High Rating for Security Measures on the Football Match B&H – Israel

policijaAfter the football match between national football teams of B&H and Israel, the Staff for coordination and directing the activities for ensuring this sporting event was held the meeting in the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDC), during which the taken security measures were briefly analyzed.

They concluded that ” there was no incident recorder in the city area or the stadium Bilino Polje before, during or after the match, as well as cases of threats to personal and property safety by fans and guests, nor cases of disturbance of public order and peace”.

One person was sanctioned  according to the security maintenance of sports competitions in ZDC “due to the irresponsible flaming of torches.”

“This is a confirmation and result of high professionalism and the high level of training of our police officers, as well as the confirmation of a serious and planned approach to the indicated activities, and very important success regarding the planning, coordination and conducting of all officers  involved, considering that this sporting event was rated as high-risk event. Thousands of fans and guests attended the match, as well as large number of VIPs, guests and diplomats, whose arrival on this area and their presence on the game required a special approach and specific security measures taken in order to ensure their visit and their movements “, said the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Police of ZDC.

Officers from several police agencies made the Staff for coordination and directing the activities to secure this sporting event, and they are particularly grateful to all citizens and guests who have recognized the efforts and acted according to the orders and instructions issued by the police officers, as well as correct and sporting behavior which contributed to the creation of a safe environment.
