Highest average Salary 2,008 BAM in Republika Srpska

The average net salary in Republika Srpska paid in December is 1,580 BAM and is 17 BAM higher than the average net salary paid in November 2025, the Federation of Trade Unions announced.

The highest average salary was paid in the field of ore and stone extraction and amounted to 2,008 BAM, and the lowest average salary was paid in the area of ​​real estate business and amounted to 1,191 BAM.

The trade union consumer basket for December 2025 was 2,815 BAM and the average net salary covers it with 56.12 percent.

The union consumer basket contains expenses for food, housing and communal services, current household maintenance, clothing and footwear, hygiene and health care, transport, education and culture.

Families in Republika Srpska spent the most money on food – BAM 1,294.

For housing and communal services it was necessary to allocate 687 BAM, for transport 226 BAM, the purchase of clothes and shoes cost 235 BAM, while for current household maintenance in the month of December it was necessary to allocate 162 BAM, reports Srna.
