This year’s, seventh Sarajevo Holiday Market was officially opened last night at the Square of Prof. Dr. Nijaz Durakovic, in the Hastahana Park at Marijin Dvor, with turning on bulbs on the Christmas tree that was nearly 20 meters high.

Sarajevo citizens and guests of the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) are delighted with Holiday Market, which will make their winter days and upcoming holidays more enjoyable this year. In the next 40 days, the Hastahana Park will certainly be the most interesting place in Sarajevo, which the hosts said last night.

Visitors are attracted by a number of interesting facilities, and many are most impressed by the ice rink, where the Municipality Centar provided free terms for all ice skating fans.

“The ice rink will be opened today, and from January 1st to February 10th , Municipality Centar will rent and give free ice skating terms from morning till evening. The family day will be organized on February 10th and then we will choose the best ice skater (male and female) in the junior category, “ said Mayor of Centar Municipality Nedzad Ajnadzic.

Wooden cottages with various food products, props, souvenirs and clothes are necessary this year as well. Every night at the Winter pub there will be many performers and bands, and every day from 4 pm visitors will be able to enjoy at the After Work Party.

The youngest visitors will not be forgotten, so they will also be provided with a small amusement park for children, and they will be able to spend some time with a Santa Claus and take a photo with him.
