The House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will hold its first regular session today, where it will consider the Proposal for this year’s budget.
The budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, proposed by the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, amounts to 6.7 billion KM and is slightly more than 1.1 billion KM higher than last year’s budget.
One of the key priorities when planning the budget funds for this fiscal year was ensuring stability in the payments of pensions, veterans’ and social benefits, and other benefits provided for in the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In addition to the Budget Proposal, the session will also consider the Bill on the Execution of the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2023 as an accompanying act.
Also, at the session, the MPs should declare their consent to this year’s financial plans of the Health Insurance and Reinsurance Institute of the FBiH, the FBiH Employment Agency and the Regulatory Commission for Energy in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FERK).
