The Tourist Association of Canton Sarajevo (CS) and the City Administration of Sarajevo signed a joint financing agreement for the New Year’s Eve in the amount of 230,000 BAM.

There will be concerts of classical music, local and regional music stars on the New Year’s Eve on December 30th and 31st, as well as on January 1st. A joint promotion of the City of Sarajevo and the winter tourist season was agreed to take place at several tourist centers of the region: Zagreb, Split, Dubrovnik, Ljubljana, Podgorica, Novi Pazar, Belgrade and Skopje.

It will be an opportunity to strengthen and improve the cooperation so far and to jointly present and improve the tourist value of Sarajevo in the tourist centers of the region.

At the meeting, it was agreed on a joint cooperation on the reconstruction and revitalization of the White Fortress, not to allow further destruction of this national monument of BiH and one of the main symbols of the old part of Sarajevo.
