Older generations surely remember how the holiday decorations on the streets of Sarajevo looked in the past, and this photo will certainly bring back memories of their childhood or youth.

Although today we can enjoy numerous illuminations in various sizes and shapes, New Year’s decor also had its charm in the past. Decorations in the past were much more modest, but from the photo from the 80s, you can see that there was real festive euphoria even then.

Regardless of whether you celebrate the New Year holidays or not, you will admit that this period of the year has a special charm. Therefore, enjoy the New Year period and the charms it brings with it.
