HR Schmidt meets BiH Defense Minister Podzic

At their meeting today in Sarajevo, High Representative Christian Schmidt and BiH Defense Minister Sifet Podžić underlined the importance of the BiH Armed Forces as one of the foundations of the integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the security of all citizens.

“Budget planning must ensure that the BiH Armed Forces can continue to carry out their important tasks. Defense property issues also have to be addressed. I will remain focused on this issue,” said the High Representative Schmidt after the meeting.
