The perceptions of one Bosnian who illustrated the B&H reality and the divisions in which we live, in a humorous way, has become a real hit on the social network Facebook.
“I am a Bosnian. The name of my country B&H consists of two parts: Bosnia and Herzegovina. The infrastructure of B&H is made up of three parts: the Federation of B&H, the Republic of Srpska and the Brčko District.”
The Federation is like Muslim / Bosniak / Bosnian, the Republic of Srpska is the Orthodox / Serbian, and the Brčko District is where Edo Maajka (singer) lived before. I believe that’s already too many divisions within a single country, but nope, because as far as I understood, Croatian politicians are advocating for Croat / Bosnian Catholics / Herzegovinians to get their own entity, since they do not consider the Federation of B&H as ‘theirs’.
I like “Croats”. Two out of my three very best friends are “Croat” / Bosnian Catholics, but if we follow the logic of sharing our country, then I would love that Croats and Jews and Gypsies and Athletes and Pensioners and Wahhabis and Diaspora / Returnees and Atheists and Metal heads and Chinese and Sandžak returnees and Gays and Politicians and Herbalists and Gamers and Bookmakers and Little Cute Ones and everyone else get their own entity, so that B&H instead of Bosnia and Herzegovina should rather be called the United States of Bosnia, and the abbreviation for our country should be the USB. ”
