The Department for Displaced Persons, Refugees and Housing Issues of the Brčko District of B&H, has published a public invitation for refugees from B&H, displaced persons in B&H and returnees, to submit requests for reconstruction of individual housing facilities, if they intend returning to Brčko District.
Assistance in reconstruction, as well as aid to return, should be granted as part of the implementation of reconstruction projects of individual housing facilities for displaced persons and returnees in Brčko District, and will be funded under the budget of the Brčko District for 2015, to the amount of 1 million BAM.
“The number of housing facilities which will be renewed will depend upon the degree of damage to housing units, selected beneficiaries, and the current market prices for building materials,” as was stated in the public invitation.
