ICTY-Opening of Exhibition on 16 July “20 Years of International Justice” in BiH Historical Museum on 16 July

historijski_muzej_bihThe program Outreach of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) is organizing an exhibition ‘’20 years of international justice’’ that will open on 16 July in the BiH Historical Museum in Sarajevo, announced the ICTY.

The exhibition, organized in order to mark the 20 years since the establishment of the Tribunal, highlights significant moments during the two decades of the tireless work in achieving justice. Special focus will be placed on the role of the Tribunal in determining the facts about war crimes, apprehending fugitives and its legacy.

The exhibition was previously put on display in the City Hall in the Hague from 27 May to 14 June.

Experts of the Tribunal, experts for issues of transitional justice, academics and representatives of civil society, national judiciary and the diplomatic corps will attend the reception.
