The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Stasa Kosarac, and discussed current political and economic issues in BiH and the region, in the context of implementing measures taken to overcome the crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic, as well as opportunities to improve cooperation countries in areas of mutual interest.
Chairman Tegeltija expressed satisfaction with the good and friendly relations between the two countries so far, which cooperate well in all areas and do not have open issues that burden bilateral relations, and pointed out the commitment of the Council of Ministers to work for good neighborly relations in the future.
He assessed the good cooperation between BiH and Montenegro in the process of European integration, especially within the IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program, emphasizing that BiH’s European path, while respecting the constitutional competencies of all levels of government and the Dayton Agreement, is a priority in the current Council of Ministers.
On this occasion, Chairman Tegeltija sent an invitation to the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Zdravko Krivokavic, to visit BiH as soon as possible, it is stated in the announcement from the Council of Ministers.
