Implementation of the Project Development of Dance and Performing Arts for Children Started

generatorThe implementation of Generator, a two year project which aims to develop dance and performing arts for children in the area of Balkans started in February.

Generator is implemented by the Center for youth education -CEM from Travnik, Stanice- Service for contemporary dance (Belgrade, Serbia) as main coordinator of the project, Dance Center Tala (Zagreb, Croatia), Nomad Dance Academy (Skopje, Macedonia) and Interim Culture (Stockholm, Sweden).

The focus of Generator is on children, their position in society, as well as problems important for their development and future, explains CEM -Travnik.

The project aims, as stated, to create a knowledge base and practical models, which are ready for communication, forwarding and use. The project will bring together artists of various degrees of experience, as well as representatives of relevant institutions engaged in the field of performing arts and education from the Balkans and the Nordic area.

Balkan Arts and Culture Foundation support this project.
