In the Una National Park, the Number of Visits increased by 30%

”The number of visits to the Una National Park during this season has significantly increased compared to last year, by about 30%, which is satisfactory, ” stated Amarildo Mulic, director of the mentioned company.

”Last year we ended with 51.000 registered visits, which we characterized as a success given the decline in the number of tourist visits to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH). Of course, this is different from some previous figures, but the most important thing is that in this difficult period, which was marked by restrictive measures, we managed to preserve the stability of the company and economic survival, ” noted Mulic.

He noted that they recorded a large number of visits by tourists from Europe, the countries of the region, and he is especially happy about the return of tourists from Arab countries, of which there were very few in the past year.

”Most of them are from Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and a little less from Saudi Arabia, but they are also present in this area. Of course, there are also domestic tourists, who saved us during last season, ” Mulic told.

Also, he added that this year, due to the prescribed epidemiological measures, the organization of the Una regatta was not possible, but that a one-day drive on the Una was organized as a kind of compensation.

”We hope that next year we will have this event in full capacityand that we will return to the path of tourism development that we have planned for ourselves. In this period, we have done part of the infrastructure and improved the tourist offer, ” said Mulic.

Una National Park is one of the four national parks in BiH and the only one in the Federation of BiH, eKapija writes.
