Inappropriate Behaviour of Members of BiH Armed Forces

In the “Zaim Imamović” barracks in Pazarić, there was an incident between two candidates for military service in the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On this occasion, the joint headquarters of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued a statement stating that the investigative bodies of the Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after an extraordinary event classified as a serious violation of military discipline, which took place on August 14, 2023 at the location of the “Zaim Imamovic” barracks in Pazarić, initiated the procedure to determine the disciplinary and criminal liability of two candidates for basic military training at the Basic Training Center of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina will take all necessary measures to sanction all responsible persons and additionally strengthen control and supervision for compliance with all elements of military discipline in all units and commands of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of preventing any non-compliance with the Law on Service, the Code of Ethics and other legal regulations and the prescribed procedures,” the announcement states.

The Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina announce further measures and actions in accordance with the above-mentioned regulations and procedures, which the public will be informed about in a timely manner.
