Increase in Infected with Coronavirus and Dead Persons in Sarajevo

According to the Sarajevo Canton Public Health Institute, 90 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Sarajevo Canton, these are the results of an analysis conducted in the past 24 hours on samples collected between July 17 and 21 this year, Klix.ba news portal reports.

A total of 345 tests were processed, among which the mentioned 90 were positive for this virus and 60 people were hospitalized in the Isolation of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, while most of them are vitally stable, but even today one person is connected to a respirator, while two people, unfortunately, passed away.

In the past 24 hours, 10 people were released from the isolation ward.

Currently, 1,142 cases are active in Sarajevo Canton, of which 479 have been cured, while 22 people have died from this disease.

In the period from July 6 to 21 this year, based on the recommendations of the epidemiologist, the decisions of the inspection or the Ministry of Health of Canton Sarajevo ordered 1,422 self-isolations.
