Increased Traffic recorded at Border Crossings ahead of Holidays

This morning, vehicle traffic was increased at the entrance to Bosnia and Herzegovina at the border crossings: Velika Kladuša, Gradiška, Gradina and Brod. At other border crossings, vehicle traffic has increased, but delays are no longer than 30 minutes for now.

Dense fog reduces visibility, and it is especially thick along the rivers: Sava, Drina, Lašva and Bosna. There is also fog in the wider area of Tuzla, Sarajevo, Travnik, Vitez and Goražde. There is an increased risk of landslides on the sections leading through the cuts. We appeal to drivers to drive carefully, with mandatory compliance with all traffic regulations. Please note that having winter equipment is mandatory.

Due to works on the construction of a lane for slow vehicles on the section of the main road M-18 Čevljanovići-Nišići (in a length of 300 m), traffic is alternating in one lane (regulation by traffic lights).

Due to the work on the replacement of lighting in the Karaula tunnel (Kladanj-Olovo), from 09:00 to 14:00, traffic alternates in one lane.

On the main road Jajce-Donji Vakuf, due to works in the Skela tunnel, during the day traffic is alternating, in one lane. At night (22:00-06:00) traffic is stopped and diverted to the bypass around the tunnel.

Due to the works, traffic is also slower on the section of the A-1 Zenica North-Zenica South highway, as well as on the Živinice-Stupari (Đurđevik) and Mostar-Čitluk (Kobilovača) roads.

Due to the coming religious holiday of the Catholic Christmas, from tomorrow (December 24) from 12 noon to Monday (December 26) until midnight, the transportation of explosive materials in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina is prohibited.
