After a two-year break caused by the COVID 19 pandemic, the Trade Fair, which is being held for the 23rd time this year, has returned to Mostar. Hundreds of visitors attended the opening ceremony in Pavilion One, and the following people addressed the audience: the director of the Fair Dalfina Bosnjak, the Mayor of Mostar Mario Kordic, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Zoran Tegeltija, as well as the guests – Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, who declared the Fair open. It is important to mention that Hungary is a partner country of the Fair this year, Federalna writes.

In her address, Bosnjak announced numerous sub-fair events, different business conferences, scientific gatherings, and round tables.

“We are honored that Hungary, our friendly country, is a partner of the Fair this year. It is a confirmation that our cooperation has been developing from the very beginning, but also that we have worked with quality, “ told Bosnjak.

The first man of Mostar, Mario Kordic, did not hide his joy over the reorganization of the Fair. He reminded that the organization needed a lot of effort this time as well, especially thanking Hungary, which is a partner of the Fair.

“I am deeply convinced that the partnership will mean greater connectivity and more benefits in future cooperation. Mostar citizens are proud of the Fair. It is a brand that brings together the best. All this obliges us all to continue to contribute to the development of the Fair. The fair is also an example for the future development of society, ” stated Kordic.

More than half of the exhibitors are from BiH, and there are also stands of exhibitors from Turkey, Austria, Germany, North Macedonia, Poland, and Israel. Apart from the exhibition part, a rich conference and cultural and entertainment program is planned by the end of the Fair.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijjarto, emphasized that he was especially honored that Hungary was a partner country and that this country had an understanding for the countries of the Western Balkans. Also, he expressed hope that BiH would soon receive candidate status in the European Union (EU) and declared the Fair officially opened.
