ITA of BiH Reports Record Growth: Over 10.5 Billion BAM Collected This Year

Revenues from indirect taxes for the eleven months of this year amounted to 10 billion and 498 million BAM and are 770 million BAM higher or 7.91 percent compared to the same period last year when they amounted to 9 billion and 727 million BAM.

As announced, the ITA returned 1 billion and 901 million BAM to the economy in the period January-November 2024.

Net collected revenues that went to be distributed to users in the period January-November 2024, namely the state, entities and the Brčko District, amounted to 8 billion and 597 million BAM and are 854 million BAM higher compared to the revenues that users received from the Single Account for the same period in 2023.

An amount of 934 million BAM was allocated for financing state institutions in the period January-November 2024. The rest of the collected revenues from indirect taxes ended up with the entities and the Brčko District.

Thus, the Federation of BiH received 4 billion and 704 million BAM from the single account, the Republika Srpska 2 billion and 636 million BAM and the Brčko District 264 million BAM.

Based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 BAM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 222 million BAM, the Republika Srpska 147 million BAM and the Brčko District 8 million BAM.
