peace marchFrom year to year, the Srebrenica Peace March is getting more and more participants, not only from BiH. Here is another proof.

On Wednesday, the 6th of July at 6.30 pm at the Ars Aevi Depot (Youth Centre Sarajevo) will be organized the welcoming reception for the peacekeepers from Italy who went on the Peace March on foot from Trieste.

Association “Repubblica Nomade” from Italy organized this initiative of civil and symbolic nature, as they stated, without any political connotations.

They departed on foot from Trieste on the 29th of May on journey whose aim is to arrive in Potocari on the 10th of July. They went through Slovenia, Croatia and BiH, and arrived in Sarajevo on the 27th of June, where they made a break before joining the column of the Peace March that starts from Nezuk to Srebrenica.

Their journey was entitled the Dream of Europe, with the aim of drawing attention to the importance of peace and the need to strengthen the idea of European cohesion and the dream of united Europe.

These activists want a Europe that will be able to counter the increasingly difficult challenges which this historical moment puts in front of the citizens, Europe that will be a house of Europeans, with all their differences and similarities, in order to become the workshop of civilizations.

Association “Repubblica Nomade” gathers intellectuals and writers, including its founder Antonio Moresco.

Association “Dante Alighieri” from Sarajevo invites all interested parties to attend this event.
