ivana-ninkovicThe Danish city, Herning from 12-15 December will host the 17th European championship of swimming (25 m pool). Ivana Ninković and Nina Žarković, members of the Swimming Club Olymp from Banja Luka, will represent B&H in the competition of 673 participants from 42 countries.

According to the coach of the club Željko Panić, both B&H representatives are well prepared and they are in an excellent physical shape, but it will be very hard to achieve a good ranking.

Ninković shares the same opinion.

“Competition at the European championship is stronger. The best swimmers from Europe participate in this championship and it is very hard to achieve a good result. I don’t want to promise anything in regards to the semi-finals and final, but I will try my best”, emphasized Ninković.
