Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Bakir Izetbegovic met on Tuesday with Metropolitan Dabro-Bosnian Chrysostom, recalling that cooperation between churches and religious communities and the state must be developed continuously with mutual support and appreciation.

Metropolitan Dabro-Bosnian Chrysostom informed Izetbegovic about the current situation regarding the return of property to the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Izetbegovic pointed out that it is necessary to adopt the necessary decisions and legislation that will enable the return of confiscated property to all religious communities in BiH, and that he, as president of the Party of Democratic Action and a member of the House of Peoples, will support the adoption of the necessary law which would regulate the status rights of religious officials in the religious communities of BiH.
