Izetbegovic hosted the Apostolic Nuncio in BiH

150206139.1_xlMember of the Presidency of BiH, Bakir Izetbegovic, welcomed the Apostolic Nuncio in BiH, Bishop Luigi Pezzuto.

It has been agreed that relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Holy See are very good and willingness for further improvement of cooperation has been expressed.

Special attention has been paid to the announced visit of Pope Francis to BiH.

-We received the news about Pope Francis’ visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 6th June this year with joy. Pope Francis is a true friend of BiH-said Izetbegovic.

He emphasized that his visit will be of great significance for BiH and its citizens, because he well spread a message of peace and understanding, and will contribute to further strengthening of intercultural dialogue and cooperation, by which Bosnia and Herzegovina is recognizable in world, was announced from the BiH Presidency.
