It was concluded that cooperation of BiH and the UNDP is excellent and that the UNDP proved to be a valuable partner to the institutions of BiH in various programs of social-economic development.

Chairman Izatbegović thanked for the help that the UNDP provided to BiH in the recovery of the damage caused by disastrous floods in 2014.

Special emphasis during the conversation was on the project „Dialogue for the Future“, implemented by the UNDP, UNESCO and UNICEF in partnership with the Presidency of BiH. It was jointly assessed that this project has proven to be exceptionally successful in promoting dialogue, understanding and cooperation in BiH, especially among young people. Highlighting that the reconciliation process is crucial for stability of BiH and the entire region, the Chairman Izetbegović said that the Presidency of BiH is committed to the continuation of this project and its expansion to other countries in the region, with special emphasis on youth issues.

Undersecretary Clark also pointed out that UNDP strongly supports the endeavors of BiH authorities to implement the Reform Agenda, as well as the path of BiH towards the full membership in the EU.

Advisor Mira Pekić attended the meeting on behalf of the member of the BiH Presidency Mladen Ivanić and advisor Dejan Vanjek attended the meeting on behalf of the BiH Presidency member Dragan Čović.
