The Japanese Agency for International Development (JICA) has ensured funds for the purchase of 100 sheep for Srebrenica farmers.
20 households will receive 5 sheep each from nearly all local communities, said that Department for Economy of Srebrenica municipality.
JICA has been implementing agricultural projects for nine years and educating the local population that, with the application of science and Japanese developments and models in this area, better yields and profits will be provided.
In addition to the theoretical and practical assistance, JICA ensures sowing seeds, agricultural tools and machinery, fruit seeds, cows, sheep and bees.
The realization of this project of Japan enables the development of agriculture and with this, the sustainability of return at all farms.
