New Year holidays are closer, time when families gather and gift each other. Children are especially looking forward to the gift boxes. Unfortunately, a lot of children in B&H cannot feel that joy.
Association “Ruku na srce” launched a humanitarian project “Nijedno dijete bez paketića 2015” (No Child Without a Gift Box 2015) with the aim of providing gift boxes for children from socially endangered families registered in the Sarajevo Canton, as well as for children included in the program Jačanje porodice (Strengthening of Family) within the organization SOS Children’s Villages B&H up to 14 years of age.
After last year’s success and as much as 850 distributed gift boxes, members of the Association are motivated to try to make as much children of school and preschool age happy this year as well. The gift boxes will be distributed along with an appropriate play in which heroes from the fairytales will come to life, after which the children will have an opportunity to participate in creative workshops.
“Help us make the kids happy! Be a part of this large project, donate toys, candies, picture books, school accessories, or create a gift box on your own and make the beginning of the New Year more beautiful to those who will be happy for it the most,” the Association stated.
In case you are not able to donate some of abovementioned things, you may donate money for that purposes. Payments can be made to the account of the Association, account number 1990490056036171, Sparkasse Bank, with a note “Za akciju ‘Nijedno dijete bez paketića’”.
Deadline for collecting donations is December 12, 2015.
