Lawyer Goran Petronijevic from Serbia, who until recently was banned from entering Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) because he posed a threat to national security, announced that he will form a team to defend the President of the Republika Srpska (RS) Milorad Dodik, against whom the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment.
Goran Petronijevic said yesterday that in a conversation with members of the cabinet of the President of the RS Milorad Dodik, he started the initiative for the formation of Milorad Dodik’s Defense Council.
Petronijevic told the Radio Television of RS (RTRS) that there is no doubt that Christian Schmidt and his “Sarajevo henchmen” are trampling the Dayton Peace Agreement, tearing down the Constitution of BiH and violating the Charter of the United Nations (UN).
“And that is what motivated us to now form a serious legal-political team that would deal with all aspects,” stated Petronijevic.
Moreover, Petronijevic is also known as the lawyer of the convicted war criminal Radovan Karadzic and Bratislav Dikic, the former commander of the Serbian Gendarmery, who was accused of attempting a coup d’état in Montenegro.
The media also reported that he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the “Russian Humanitarian Mission” Fund, with which the authorities of the RS signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. He is known as a pro-Russian activist and one of the organizers of anti-NATO protests in Serbia.
With the arrival of the new Intelligence-Security Agency of BiH (OSA BiH) director Almir Dzuvo and the new state government (the Coalition of the Three, SNSD, and HDZ), Goran Petronijevic’s ban on entering BiH was lifted in May of this year.
Milorad Dodik announced yesterday that he will carry out the maximum homogenization of the Serbian people and the RS because of the indictment against him.
And that this is already in full swing is proven by the “bombardment” of announcements, statements, letters of support, analyses, and comments published by lawyers, analysts, professors, and media close to Dodik’s regime since the indictment was filed.
It should be noted that the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has just filed an indictment and the question is whether the Court of BiH will confirm it. In case of confirmation, the court process against Dodik will begin, Klix.ba reports.
