Kosovo annulled Final Protective Measures for BiH to the export of Milk

Bosnia and Herzegovina’s (BiH) Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic stated that the Kosovo Government has annulled final protective measures for BiH to the export of milk and dairy products.

Namely, this means that BiH efforts to solve the problem in accordance with the principles of free trade have been appreciated.

The decision on the annulment of the measures holds great importance for the dairy industry in BiH because the market of Kosovo is one of the most important markets for export of milk and dairy products from BiH.

“Customs duty on export of milk is no longer charged to our exporters,” emphasized Šarovic, explaining that annulment of the earlier disputed measures by Pristina is a result of joint activities of CEFTA countries and a ministerial meeting which was held in Belgrade.
