After the Ministry of Economy of Una-Sana Canton issued a public call for the concession of the construction of wind power plant in the village Teocak, near Bihac, in January this year, the name of the future concessionaire is now announced. It is the company IVICOM Consulting from Zagreb.

In the upcoming days, IVICOM will officially receive a concession on use of construction land in Teocak for research, design, construction, arrangement, furnishing, operation and maintenance of facilities for the conversion of wind energy into electricity.

“Installed wind power plants should have individual power up to 5 MW, and total output of up to 40 MW. This means that we plan the construction of 8 wind-pillars, while the entire construction project will cost between 40 and 50 million BAM,” said Vid Santic, the Minister of Economy of USC.

The Minister emphasized that the intention of the Ministry is the construction of renewable energy sources, i.e. water resources, wind power and solar power plants. Still, he said, nothing can happen overnight.

Also, he stated that the investor is expected to deliver a preliminary designs of future wind power plant, with all defined technical and other parameters related to the project.
