The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borjana Krišto, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, during his visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina. Today’s meeting served to summarize Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path and key issues for the continuation of the dynamics, especially until the end of the current year and the Hungarian presidency of the European Union.

Kristo expressed gratitude to Hungary for its continued support for Bosnia and Herzegovina and its commitment to keeping our country and the entire region high on the agenda of the European Union’s priorities, especially in the context of enlargement and the implementation of the Growth Plan, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.

Minister Szijjártó confirmed Hungary’s readiness to continue its strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina in all its efforts, as well as to hold the Intergovernmental Conference at the end of the year.

The senior political officials agreed that strengthening regional stability and cooperation is key to future progress, and continuing dialogue and partnership relations is a priority, the statement said.
