Fifteen-year-old Lana Pudar from Mostar swam the Olympic A norm in the 100-meter dolphin discipline yesterday in the finals of the Serbian Open Championship for qualification to the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

The super-talented swimmer from Mostar swam the section in 57 seconds and 37 hundredths, thus broke the record of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

Lana came even closer to the absolute world record set in 2016 by Sarah Sjostrom from Sweden with a time of 55 seconds and 48 hundredths, and she already has one of the best qualifying times in the world in 2021.

Yesterday’s Lana’s swim time at the competition in Belgrade got a silver medal at the last European Championship for seniors, and it is the time of the finals at the Olympic Games in Rio in 2016.

The member of the Swimming Club “Orka” from Mostar has already got more than 500 medals, 40 trophies, and more than 100 records of BiH in several disciplines and categories.

At the 20th choice of the best athletes in BiH, Lana was named the most promising young athlete in BiH for 2020.
